I am so glad that you are here. I have a feeling that this space will encourage you to take a step back toward your roots. I was born and raised at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains as a barefoot, hair-bow wearing blonde. In 2020, my junior year of college was quickly halted and we were all sent home for ‘a week’. While that time derailed me from the typical college experience, I used it to rediscover what I loved about my childhood. I committed to finding joy in the everyday of having to be home again. Time slowed down, long summer days were relived, and I was more grounded than I had been in years.  

Fast forward to today. I am married, and my husband and I live right outside of the town I grew up in. We have a golden retriever puppy named Boone, who you will see lots of if you follow me on Instagram. And, we are day by day building a life that we dream about by reimagining what it can look like to indulge and explore at home or on the go.
